They were out their playing with their friends. A pretty normal day I guess. When that one kids brother offered them a smoke. That guy was so much older, he knew better right? He should have. "By age 18, almost 12 percent of all young people are illicit drug users" (coaching international). They were thirteen and ten.
Not knowing this statistic they didn't take it. That irresponsible man couldn't make them. They do know. They also knew that when they were kids they pretended to smoke. It was cool for them. The "TV people" did it, movies, TV shows. They made it cool. It looked like it couldn't harm at all. But they knew better now. The TV that's were everything is glamorized for the young, for almost everyone. You see the rebel tough guys smoking on TV giving a message that this is cool. The message that says, "hey look at me i am cool i smoke, i drink, this is cool".
